ViaTek at Comic Con
Behind the Scenes
The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of Comic Con activity. We joined Ray Park in Chicago and Houston for Collect-a-Con, and the experience was phenomenal. Star Wars fans, families, and collectors came together — and Ray brought his signature energy to each interaction.
"The gym was fantastic at both hotels. This is a must when you travel as much as Ray does."
These events show why we love what we do — engaging with fans, building community, and sharing the excitement.
Event Highlights
Superstar Con – Savannah, GA
This was another great weekend working with Ray Park, known for his legendary roles in Star Wars, GI Joe, and X-Men. At Superstar Con in Savannah, fans had unforgettable experiences with Ray’s live lightsaber demos, personal stories, and one-of-a-kind autograph moments.
Lightsaber Duel with a Fan
For the first time, Ray did a live lightsaber demonstration *with* a fan — a true highlight of the event!
A Fan’s Commitment
One fan showed up with a freshly inked Darth Maul tattoo just days before the event. Ray signed the tattoo on Saturday — and by that afternoon, the fan had it permanently inked. He returned the next day to proudly share the update.
Incredible Fan Art
The artist dressed as Starlight presented Ray with an R2-D2 print made up of butterflies shaped like various characters — Darth Maul at the center. It was a touching tribute from one artist to another.
A Unique Artistic Tribute
One of the standout moments from Superstar Con was meeting an incredibly talented artist dressed in a starlight costume. She showcased a stunning R2-D2 print, creatively composed of butterflies — each one representing a different Star Wars character. At the heart of the piece was none other than Darth Maul, symbolizing the powerful impact of Ray’s character on the Star Wars legacy. The artwork beautifully captured the spirit of the fandom and the emotional connection fans have with the saga.
